Journal Entry 55: Personal Assets :)

In the book we just read, which is called Hatchet, the main character that is Brian Robeson crashes in this Canadian forest and tries to survive in the forest. Brian's personal assets is that his mother gave him this hatchet, which was pretty useful for him. The hatchet was very valuable to Brian because he can use that to make fire, build shelter, make weapons, and IT WAS EVERYTHING TO HIM!!! Brian also learned from a television show about turtles, which also helped him because then he will know what type of eggs that he found. Brian also got some ideas from his friend or teacher (I forgot which one) that he should think in a positive way. For my assets I think it is my parents because they encourage me to learn and explore new things, like when I was little I wanted to learn violin and my parents worked hard to let me go take violin classes, although sometimes I hate violin because I have to practice it for a long time. My parents also support me a lot, like my parents yell at me because they want me to learn in the correct way not the wrong way although there yelling might be very annoying sometimes. Well it is just that I think my parents don't want me to turn into a bad kid, so they keep reminding me.
