Journal Entry 16: What is a Hero? :)

A hero is this brave person that does good deeds and help others, even if it was a crazy person on the street. I think that Harriet Tubman is a hero to slaves because she was willing to risk her life to lead the slaves to freedom just to let them know what freedom feels like, which is like helping the slaves a lot. Barbara Frietchie is also a hero because Barbra Frietchie was brave enough to stand up to Stonewall Jackson and put the union flag up on her window even though she was not suppose to do that because Stonewall Jackson might kill her (by that I mean shoot her) but it turns out that Stonewall Jackson respected her to do such a thing. Heros have a lot of stuff in common because heros mostly do stuff that are not suppose to be done but it turns out to be that what they are doing is very brave. For example, Harriet Tubman helped the slaves escaped but she is a traitor to the slaves owner.
