Journal Entry 5: Advice :)

Dear Stephanie Chen,
I am Alfonso (a boy for sure) from the book, Elements of Literature. I like this girl at my school called Sandra but I am not sure what to do to make her like me. I hope that you can give me some advices or you can help me choose some of my ideas I thought of. Here are some of my ideas I would like to share with you. My first idea is that I might try to fix up my crooked teeth and color my hair to look better. My second idea is that I might help her out more so she will think I am a very generous and kind person. My third idea is to take her out on a bike ride but I might have some problem with that because my bike has a broken chain and my brother, Ernie doesn't really want to lend me his bike. So which idea do you suggest the best or do you want to give me your own advice? PLEASE HELP ME AS SOON AS YOU SEE THIS.

Sincerely,
Alfonso

  1. Alfonso, if you like one girl, you can just tell her. Please don't change your hair color and crooked teeth, it's makes you uglier.

  2. Dear Alfonso,
First able, I think you should change your appearance, I don't think she will like you just because you changed your appearance. I think helping her out is a good idea but don't make it too obvious like "Hey, I will help you out, I'm so generous, you should think that I'm attractive and go out with me." I think you should also help someone else and let her sees that you're helping someone else. I don't think taking her out to a bike ride is a very good idea because it's a bit old fashion and she might think that it's not very cool. I think you guys should go out to a movie or go to a party at another friend's house or something. Anyways, I think the second and third idea is good and that's what you should do. Good luck with that girl called Sandra! :)
